The Althoff-Jahr, an initiative of the city of Dinslaken, honours Friedrich Althoff, a Prussian politician and one of the city’s most renowned sons. One important part of public relations is the Althoff-Box, a movable pop-up museum built in a container. The box communicates the biography of the visionary Friedrich Althoff in an informative and emotionally appealing way, and traces the legacy he left in the city. The mobile exhibition was set up in different locations such as public places, school courts and venues. The project was developed in cooperation with the design office Bande-Für Gestaltung!
