A video depicting ‘Flying Boxes’ will display at the ADI Design Index 2015 exhibition, which will be staged in Milan’s ADI for EXPO space from 5–9 October 2015 and then relocate to Rome’s Serra Espositiva dell’Orto botanico from 16–25 October.
Designed by Turin-based firm Migliore+Servetto Architects, Pedrali‘s fanciful stand for the 53rd edition of Salone Internazionale del Mobile – dubbed Flying Boxes – was selected for the ADI Design Index 2015 and is currently in the running for the Compasso d’Oro 2016.
ADI Design Index 2015 features an astounding 150 Italian items produced in every sector for the last year – ranging from furniture to cars and from building components to books – demonstrating the best of Italian design. In 2016, these objects will compete for the coveted award, Compasso d ‘Oro.
