milan-based architecture studio piuarch has completed the givenchy flagship store, in seoul in close collaboration with the fashion label’s art director riccardo tisci. the shop is located in the busy shopping district of gangnam-gu, and has a total area of around 400 square meters spread across three levels.the building features a distinctive graphic façade, with a minimalist interior that seeks to reflect the themes and motifs of the givenchy name. the façade’s ashlar surface is made from electropolished steel plates that create a variety of reflective effects that change throughout the day. a surface of satin brass appears at the upper corner of the building in a direct reference to brand’s famed ‘T cut’ style.
